Subject: Letter of Appreciation September 5, 2000 Mr. Dan Wedel Dear Mr. Wedel: We have just recently received our second shipment of "Listen to the Spirit..." journals from you and Sandy to be used in our second fundraiser. We want to let you know how well they were received by our membership during our first campaign. Our Board of Directors chose your journal to offer our Covenant Donors as a free gift if the donor would pledge a minimum $50 offering during the following year. At first there was some hesitancy from our donors about whether they wanted a journal or not. Why were we wasting our money on a "Thank you" gift? Then they saw them. We had many people tell us they were so pleasantly surprised to receive such a beautiful journal that they could hardly wait for next year. It was a journal they could keep for years and enjoy looking back to. This year we placed them on display at our annual conference for people to review in advance so they would know what was being offered during the campaign. Some of the comments in the previous year were: "How unexpected and what a wonderful thank you gift for my contribution to the work of WWCCR - a lovely prayer journal!" "Thank you for the lovely calendar/reflection journal. It is very beautiful - bless you..." "I'm compelled to send this little note to say ... about this journal ... 'Thank you, so much!' God's blessings on your day and upon all who have received this treasure..." We at WWCCR thank you for providing such a lovely product and being financially flexible with us that we could make it work as a leader for our fundraising campaign. Our finances are on the upswing and we are currently in the midst of our second campaign. We are looking forward to successes that exceed our first campaign and we are proud that your journal is an integral part of it. Thank you. God bless you and your business.
