THE FIFTEEN PRAYERS OF ST. BRIDGET on CD
The Fifteen Prayers of St. Bridget are a beautiful meditation on the Passion of Christ. They take approximately 20 to 25 minutes to pray. Sandy Wedel and Sylvia Harant, Catholic women who live in Montana and find great reward in praying these prayers, put them on CD in order to pray them while walking, driving, doing repetitive housework, or other such activities when one cannot hold and read a prayer book. They found the tape so useful, they decided to make the prayers available on CD for others.
Since producing these recordings, other uses have been made of them. They are an ideal prayer aid for the visually impaired. They also can serve as a "prayer partner" for those who live alone.
Professionally recorded and mixed CDs, the Fifteen Prayers of St. Bridget are reverently prayed over a background of traditional Catholic hymns played on piano. The overall effect provides a prayerful experience to all who pray with them. The words to the prayers as they are prayed on the CD are also provided.
